Welcome to our first adventure into interpreting reports from leading experts of trends and style analysis. These specialists observe developments across fashion, graphic design, illustration, movie styling, music, and art. They then help businesses create their own design stories. Which in turn inspire the collections and designs they then offer clients like you, for your wedding.
I follow these super talented people on Pinterest, across their websites platforms and via the articles they write online. It was while studying with the British College of Professional Stylists, I came across them for the first time. Now, I utilise their reporting and forecasting to plan editorial shoots and other creative projects.
Today I thought I would use a graphic I found on Pinterest, which is a future forecast on pure silver. Please don’t think that you have to incorporate every idea from this board into your wedding. The idea is that you can extract elements to create your inspiration. You can find the full Pinterest board in all it’s glory here.
Silver, is an easy to style refined modern and distinguished colour . With cool properties it is fun, lively, and playful. Your can associate it with an industrial, sleek, high-tech, and modern look. As well as ornate, glamorous, graceful, sophisticated, and elegant look. Making it easy to use and adapt. It has been particularly prevalent on the 2018 catwalks featuring in Jenny Packham, Gucci, Dennis Basso, Elie Saab, and Valentino collections. You will also see it on many of this season’s red carpets.
Silver is a precious metal and, like gold, often symbolises riches and wealth. Silver is mirror to the soul, helping us to see ourselves as others see us. As a gemstone silver represents hope, unconditional love, meditation, tenderness, kindness, and sensitivities.
Silver positively affects the mind and body as a conductor and communicator said to aid public speaking and eloquence. Silver draws negative energy, replacing it with positive energy.
Over to the inspiration, enjoy!
