Hale Park

Hale is an elegant 18th Century house exudes a very stylish vintage simplicity.  The impressive architecture of the house is both exciting and unusual.  Hidden in the New Forest, exquisitely Hale boasts views that sweep down to the river Avon and beyond.  The house and grounds have a majestic yet woodland rural feel, combined they create a feeling of peace and tranquillity.  The grounds are large enough to accommodate marquees for several hundred guests.  Whilst the house itself can accommodate around 80 in the event space comfortably, keeping its intimacy (to 110 max).

Hidden in the north-west of the New Forest national park, a few miles from Fordingbridge. Hale Park is a beautiful home designed and built by Georgian architect Thomas Archer for his own family in 1715.  Situated on a hill, the magnificent gardens have views of Clarebury Ring and the Avon Valley.  I vividly remember my visit to Sloan to view the house, “she” really does possess something quite unique.  I could not help stopping my car halfway down the driveway, and taking a picture.  Capturing the exquisite vista of the “pink stately home in the woods”.

The venue creates a warm, happy space where you can celebrate with your family. St.Mary’s Hale, church is situated in the gardens and can accommodate up to 90 guests. The licensed Drawing Rooms of Hale Park will seat around 105 for a wedding breakfast and more for a ceremony.

Why do your customers fall in love with you?

There are not many venues who can say they have a church in the garden, is there.  Hale has huge drawing rooms decorated in the most exquisite colour palette.  We know the venue has only just launched and is still very much refining is extraordinary potential.  However, there is something deeply magical here, and welcoming.  Leave your wellies at the door, and put your dancing shoes on.  Embrace the privacy and tradition.  I have goosebumps thinking about how beautiful the event space would look lit by candles, tables dressed in creaseless linen, and the air filled with divine floral scent.  Magic, rural perfection does this venue no justice.  Pop along and say hello, I know the family would welcome you with open arms.

Hale Park is just beautiful, nestled in the New Forest, it’s a unique wedding setting offering the stunning home itself, amazing landscaped gardens and church within the grounds. What I love is that it’s obviously an impressive grand house but it maintains an intimate and inviting charm all it’s own. The hosts are charming too.”

‘When I first saw Hale Park it was like I had been transported to the South of France.  Before me was a charming chateau in soft pink.  Not something I ever would have imagined to be hidden down a country lane in Hampshire!  It was breathtaking.  Sloan, the owner of Hale, is very passionate about everything!  His knowledge about the world is astounding, but above this all is his commitment to making Hale the most perfect, private place for a couple to marry and to really enjoy their own wedding.  I know Hale will become one of the most fabulous wedding venues in the South of England.  And I for one cannot wait to see what happens next!’
