This has to be one of the most striking shoots from last year I have come across, and it is a privilege to feature it. It is a heady mix of super stylish wedding editorial and countryside opulence, yet it retains a cosy Autumnal style. The team has really created a “wow factor” complimenting its divine venue of course. It is decadent, with a bold mix of violet tones and sumptuous velvet fabrics.
Queue the florals, splendid and luxurious; rich lilac, pink and red roses mingle jewel like amongst the foraged flowing greenery. The overhead tablescape matches the dining table, honest, abundant and breathtaking. The Wild Fox creating a stunning statement bridal bouquet, organic in shape, overflowing with generosity, charm and sophistication – as always many would say!
The shoot incorporates one of the most beautiful painted floral cakes I have seen. It is detail perfect, yet somehow matches the slight rambling edginess of this venue and this shoot. The utterly exquisite design is perfect in both artistic execution and delivery. I am sure you will agree it works in harmony with the gold edged stationery loosely tied up in sumptuous burgundy velvet ribbon.
Elegance continues, through the styling of the chic dresses and flawless hair and make up. It is hard to not be entranced by the incredible portraits taken through the stunning rooms of the main house. Perfectly pin-able wedding inspiration for your autumn or winter wedding.
Pylewell Park, is a matter of minutes away from Lymington in Hampshire. This stately and imposing venue is home to the Hon David and Melanie Roper-Curzon and has a vibrant and beguiling history. It has a grand glamour, yet a chic shabby elegant feel to it, something we utterly adore at the Hampshire Wedding Club. One of Pylewell’s brilliant features is that you have the luxury of your wedding being hosted on a completely exclusive basis.
Pylewell is set on a 1500 acre estate with 27 acres of rambling house gardens, a 15 acre lake, vintage Victorian glasshouses, and a private beach. That is before we mention the bespoke and brilliantly designed Pavilion.
Located on the coast the house has a rich maritime history, which is understandable when you see its situation and consider its proximity to the Solent. This is a region not only know for its New Forest, but also for its strong naval heritage. I can honestly say it is difficult to imagine a more picturesque costal setting for a wedding venue.
Inspired by the photographer Sam Alexander-Pearce of New Forest Studio, and styled by the award winning Sarah from Wild and Wonder Events, this brilliant collaboration launches Pylewell perfectly. Demonstrating how a savvy and service minded venue not only entrusts its launch presence to its most trusted wedding suppliers, but publicly commends them for the sublime results. We would love to see this happen more. It is a true demonstration of bridal industry spirit at its boldest, collaborative and best. This brilliant team have utterly smashed this editorial shoot, and it reflects the grand yet familiar style of this beautiful wedding space perfectly. There is something beautifully unique about Pylewell, you feel it the minute you take the journey up the driveway. There is a breathtaking mix between modern flawless design and plenteous overgrown charm.
We love Sarah’s ability to combine eclectic couture styling and super on trend texture. Bounteous foraging, meets vintage magazine perfection. As a result the images brilliantly break stereotypical wedding normality, and perfectly compliment the interior of this free-spirited venue that we know will be a resounding success after its launch.
The team wanted this editorial shoot to explore and embrace all the elements of this inspirational Hampshire wedding venue, the lines of symmetry and moody magnificence of each room is echoed with bespoke styling. From the beautiful stationery through to the bejewelled antique pieces adorning the bride’s hair. A modern, romantic yet elegant hair and make up style flatter the graceful lines of Jesus Peiro and Justin Alexander gowns.
Another magical touch, comes from the fun styling around the diningscape; vintage glassware on a time-worn drinks trolley showing off some off the resounding classics of the cocktail hour; French 74, Bee’s Knees and Old Fashioned alluding to the party commencing on the terrace at 7pm! We look forward to seeing you there!
Intense berry tones and clever textures ripple through this shoot effortlessly complimenting the hints of vintage gold luxe, gold leaf and tassels. Head-height abundant foliage alongside the beautiful British garden roses creates the perfect canopy for this quirky, classically eccentric English garden editorial. Loose arrangements and simple vases of British sweet pea, natural bees wax candles in vintage glass candle sticks completes the look.
It’s a pleasure to be able to share these images with you – they are a result of a fabulous collaboration between a deeply artistic and technically brilliant photographer, an exciting new venue and some wildly dedicated clever and professional suppliers.

We wanted our wedding to have some element of connection to a part of our lives. We also wanted a venue which would be unusual and memorable for our guests.
